Something to Consider
In A Difficult Economy
Good landscaping can add 7 to 15 percent to the value of your home, according to housing industry studies. Money magazine reports that an investment in landscaping can be recouped
by 100 to 200 percent at sale time, producing an even better return than kitchen and bathroom remodeling. A prospective buyer first judges your property by its lawn and grounds. If the landscape is unattractive or poorly maintained, the buyer may look elsewhere. So if you are looking to sell, or to bolster the value
of your property in this recession, be sure that your lawn and grounds make a good first impression. Hawthorn professionals can help. Call us at 065-708-7690, or
send us an email or enquiry form.

For Our Environment
Tips to Reduce
Pesticide Use
Hawthorn does not use pesticides all that often. There are a number of ways that we can help to
reduce the use of pesticides:
Plant Native Species
They are more resistant
to pest problems because
they have evolved under
local environmental
conditions. We encourage
this by incorporating native species into our clients'
yards. Start by adding one or two native plants to your existing gardens. Make Natural Pest
Enemies Welcome
Toads, dragonflies,
nematodes, bats, numerous species of birds and other insects are your natural allies in pest control.
Using Mypex
We encourage clients to use Mypex, which will hinder the growth of weeds and require less usage of herbicides.
