Hawthorn Receives Bord Bia Awards
Seán Tubridy and Kathleen Connelly (center) of Hawthorn Nurseries & Landscaping, Ltd, receive the Quality Award and the Continuous Progress Award from Bord Bia executives Aidan Cotter (right) and Dan Browne.
Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board, recently recognised Hawthorn's pursuit of excellence in landscaping by giving our company both the coveted Quality Award and the Continuous Progress Award. Hawthorn was honored at the National Amenity Horticulture Awards ceremony in Dublin on 18 February 2011.
 Hawthorn participates in Bord Bia's rigorous programme of training, development and inspections to ensure that our company maintains the highest
standards of service.
Aidan Cotter, CEO of Bord Bia, said: “Quality Award recipients pride themselves on delivering above and beyond consumer expectation. They have to make significant investments in training, infrastructure and procedures to attain a Quality Award." Mr. Cotter said consumers shopping for landscaping or
garden centre services "can benefit greatly" by looking for Quality Award winners.

Hawthorn Nurseries & Landscaping, Ltd. was established in 1997 in Clohanmore, Cree, County Clare. Our company has three divisions: Landscape Construction and Maintenance, Environmental Services, and Nurseries.
√ Hawthorn has worked for many of the Mid West Region's leading businesses, including the Doonbeg Golf Club, and for hundreds of homeowners and holiday cottage owners.
√ We maintain the grounds of both the Institute of Technology in Tralee and the Amenity Park in Castleroy, Limerick. We also service and maintain the common areas of many villages and towns.

Clare County Council selected Hawthorn to develop several parks under the Urban & Village Renewal Scheme, including Allender’s Field, Kilkee, Spanish Point Beach, and the Scariff Riverside Walk.
