Pesticide Use
Hawthorn does not use pesticides all that often. There are a number of ways to reduce the use of pesticides: 

Plant Native Species
They are more resistant
to pest problems because
they have evolved under
local environmental
conditions. We encourage
this by incorporating native species into our clients' yards. Start by adding one or two native plants to your existing gardens.
